// 00 CONTEXT

Attacks now move
faster than people do.

Generative AI has put natural-sounding scam emails, convincing synthetic voices, and automated vulnerability discovery within reach of attackers without deep technical skill. The volume and speed of attacks are changing at the root.

Meanwhile, most organizations have neither dedicated security staff nor round-the-clock monitoring. Manual checks and an annual assessment cannot keep up with this change.

What is needed is not a defense that waits to absorb an attack, but one that finds signs and weaknesses first and acts on them ahead of time.

// 01 THREAT VECTORS

Six attacks AI has changed

The threats Labs observes and tests most closely, and the direction of the countermeasures for each.

TV-01CRITICAL

LLM-generated phishing

Flawless, natural-sounding scam emails that imitate the writing style of partners and managers can be produced in bulk. Training people to spot "odd wording" no longer works.

COUNTER > Sender authentication audits, context anomaly detection, hands-on training

TV-02HIGH

Deepfake impersonation

Synthetic voices and faces of executives are used to order payments or data transfers by phone or video call. A few dozen seconds of audio is now enough to clone a voice.

COUNTER > Multi-factor approval flows, code-word procedures, verification design

TV-03CRITICAL

Autonomous vulnerability discovery

AI agents continuously scan public assets and chain discovery to exploitation automatically. The time between disclosure and exploitation keeps shrinking.

COUNTER > Continuous attack surface monitoring, fix prioritization

TV-04HIGH

Prompt injection

Malicious instructions are slipped into AI chatbots and AI agents deployed inside the organization, causing data leaks and unauthorized actions.

COUNTER > AI application assessment, permission design, input and output monitoring

TV-05CRITICAL

AI-accelerated ransomware

AI streamlines internal reconnaissance, privilege escalation, and data selection after intrusion, shortening the window before detection.

COUNTER > Behavioral anomaly detection, automatic isolation, backup verification

TV-06ELEVATED

Supply chain poisoning

Malicious code is planted in public packages, AI models, and plugins to compromise every user at once.

COUNTER > Dependency inventory, verification before adoption

// 02 DEFENSE ARCHITECTURE

A defense loop that never stops, from observation to learning

Automation provides speed, and expert judgment provides accuracy. Results flow back into research and detection rules, so the defense gets stronger with every cycle.

  1. 01OBSERVE

    Observe

    Continuously collect public assets, logs, and threat intelligence

  2. 02ANALYZE

    Analyze

    Correlation analysis and AI-based anomaly judgment

  3. 03PREDICT

    Predict

    Estimate attack paths and pinpoint what to close first

  4. 04RESPOND

    Respond

    Isolate, block, and remediate under approved rules

  5. 05LEARN

    Learn

    Feed results back into research and detection rules

LEARN ⟶ OBSERVE : feedback loop

// 05 AEGISGUARD LABS

Research is
the foundation of defense.

Labs studies AI-powered attack and defense techniques in isolated test environments. By understanding the same technology attackers use, we prepare for methods that have not spread yet.

LAB-01STARTING

Social engineering with generative AI

Testing scams that use generated text, voice, and video, and building indicators to detect them.

LAB-02STARTING

Autonomous attack agents

Reproducing AI-agent reconnaissance and intrusion in an isolated environment to study where defenders can detect it.

LAB-03STARTING

Safety of LLM applications

Developing methods to evaluate prompt injection, data leakage, and permission overreach.

LAB-04STARTING

Automating defense

Decision criteria and operating design for safely automating everything from detection to isolation and remediation.

// 06 OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Because we handle attacker techniques, we hold a firm line

P-01

Consent and legality

Assessments and simulated attacks are limited to the targets, periods, and methods authorized in writing. We never hack back against attackers.

P-02

Data minimization

We hold only the information the purpose requires, and agree on retention periods and disposal methods in advance.

P-03

Responsible disclosure

Vulnerabilities found in research are published only after coordinating with the vendor. We do not publish exploitable details.

P-04

Honest communication

We never claim you cannot be breached. We explain risks and limits plainly and give you what you need to decide.

// 07 ENGAGEMENT

How an engagement works

  1. 01

    Interview

    We learn your business, the assets to protect, and your current setup.

  2. 02

    Assess and propose

    We assess the current state and present prioritized measures with costs.

  3. 03

    Deploy

    We set up monitoring and response without disrupting your operations.

  4. 04

    Operate and improve

    Regular reports and improvement cycles grow your defense over time.

// 08 FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q01Does "proactive defense" mean striking back at attackers?+

No. It means finding signs of attack and weaknesses first inside your own environment, then detecting, isolating, and remediating. We do not enter or retaliate against an attacker’s systems, as that may violate the law.

Q02What is the scope of assessments and simulated attacks?+

Only the targets, periods, and methods agreed in advance and authorized in writing. Where third-party services are involved, we also check that provider’s terms.

Q03Can automated response disrupt our business?+

In the early phase we start with actions that a person approves after detection. As we learn your false-positive patterns, we widen the scope of automation step by step.

Q04Can we engage you without a dedicated security person?+

Yes. Organizations without dedicated staff are exactly who we have in mind. Name one point of contact and we will organize the technical decision material for you.

Q05Can you check the safety of the AI tools we use internally?+

Yes. Under AG-05 AI Security we assess LLM apps and AI agents and help draft usage guidelines.

Q06Can you guarantee attacks will be stopped?+

No measure can guarantee complete defense. We aim to lower the chance of a breach, notice quickly if one happens, and keep the damage small.
